Euphemia Gordon Jamieson married George Cheyne 15 January 1898, in accordance with the procedures of the Free Church of Scotland, at 7 Union Building, in Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Scotland.
The marriage record reads in part: "On 15th Jan at 7, Union Building, Aberdeen, after banns according to the Forms of the Free Church of Scotland, Euphemia Gordon Jamieson, aged 28, spinster, teacher, 9 Commerce St., Aberdeen...." Her parents were confirmed to have been as recorded herein.3

Euphemia Cheyne and her husband, George Cheyne, were listed on the 1901 Scotland Census, at School House, in Kinnethmont Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Robert Cheyne. She was listed as 32 years of age and born in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire.2

Euphemia G. Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 13 September 1932, at Liverpool, Lancashire, England. She was a tourist passenger aboard the Baltic, out of New York. She was a housewife, 63, residing at Irwell Street, Widnes, Lancashire. Her last permanent address was in England there she intended to stay.4
