     Mary Cooper Cheyne was born, 21 February 1907, in Aberdeen, Saint Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.1

Mary Cooper Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 9 June 1928, at Quebec, Quebec, Canada. She was a 3rd Class passenger aboard the Athenia, out of Glasgow on the 30th of May. She was 21, single, born in Aberdeen and had never before been in Canada. She was joining her father, Mr. James Cheyne, 12 Hyde Park Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario. Her aunt Mrs. Helen Milne, 75 Cromwell Road, Aberdeen was her nearest relative in Scotland. Her entry was marked "Landed Immigrant".1
