She was listed as 8 years of age, born in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and a scholar.1

Susan Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 3 June 1913, at Quebec, Quebec, Canada. She was a steerage passenger aboard the Saturnia, out of Glasgow. She was 20, single, born in Scotland and a domestic. She was destined for Toronto via Canadian Pacific Railroad. She was marked "British Bonus Allowed".2

First, as a British 3rd class passenger aboard the Pretorian, out of Montreal. She was 21 years old and a domestic. Her last permanent residence was in Canada and she planned to stay in Scotland. The second as a steerage passenger, going to 7 Millin (?) Street, Clydebank and not planning to return to Canada. Also on the same page similarly listed twice was Lewis Cheyne (5446).3
