3-170, May 1766, William Green and John granted administration
of estate. WB2-33, 1784, estate account by Col. John Green
mentions William Green, John Green, Jr, and Mrs. Ann Green
(Alcock, Fauquier Families, 1994).
Duff Green died in Fauquier in 1766; his children by Anne
Willis, his second wife, were Willis, Henry, William, and
Eleanor, all of whom subsequently removed to Kentucky, followed
by their mother.
