Vera Johnson Infinger, 82, of Moncks Corner, SC, a retired diet aid at Magnolia Manor, died July 6, 2006, in a Mt. Pleasant nursing home.The funeral was held 1 p.m. July 8 in the Chapel of the Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The Rev. Fritz Young officiated. Interment followed in St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Infinger was born Oct. 22, 1923, in Columbia, SC, a daughter of John Wesley Johnson and Genora Cloniger Johnson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, a former member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church, and attended St. John's Baptist Church. She was a graduate of North Augusta High School.Surviving are three daughters, Jacqueline I. Corley of Liberty, SC, Miriam I. Crain of Interlachen, Fla., and Amanda I. Patterson of Goose Creek; two sons, Daniel N. Infinger, III, of Ladson, and W. Gene Infinger of Summerville; a brother, Rev. William Johnson and his wife, Madeline, of Springhill, Fla.; her former husband, Daniel N. "Buster" Infinger, Jr., of Goose Creek; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.Pallbearers were Nathan Lantz, Rick Chambers, Jeremy Wilkin, Gene Infinger, Jr., Scooter Infinger, and Larry David.

IZARD, Anne Entered into eternal rest on the evening of March 16, 2007, Anne Kirk Izard, widow of S. Edward Izard, Jr., M.D., residence Charleston, S.C. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Tuesday morning, March 20, 2007 at 11 o'clock with interment to follow in the churchyard. Friends may call at J. Henry Stuhr's Downtown Chapel between five and seven o'clock Monday. She was born on September 11, 1916 in Charleston, the third daughter of Lillias deLiesseline and Francis deL. Kirk. A graduate of Ashley Hall, she received her B.A. degree from the College of Charleston. In 1938 she married Charles F. Middleton, Jr., who was killed in 1944 during World War II. In 1948 she married S. Edward Izard, Jr., M.D., who died in 1999. She was a lifelong member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Junior League (Past President), Ladies Benevolent Society (Past Superintendent and Honorary Life Member), Carolina Assembly (Founder and Past President), Ladies Fuel Society, Charleston Library Society, Huguenot Society, South Carolina Historical Society, Confederate Home, and the Thursday Club. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by her sisters, Martha K. Kirk and Frances K. Palmer, as well as a great grandson, Charles Ashton Middleton. She is survived by her three sons; Charles F. Middleton, III and his wife Bettina, Philip A. Middleton and his wife Judith, and Edward D. Izard, all of Charleston; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
