Williard Crawford Crawford, 91, of Bonneau, a retired secretary, died April 26, 2006, at a Manning hospital. The graveside funeral service was at 2 p.m. April 29 in Harleyville Southern Methodist Church Cemetery. Burial was directed by Russell Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Crawford was born November 26, 1914, in Berkeley County, a daughter of Levi L. Crawford and Esterly Guerry Crawford. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Harleyville Southern Methodist Church. She was the widow of Mouzon Crawford. Surviving are a grand-nephew, H. Joseph Russell Cross, 86, a retired school superintendent and tree farmer, died Sunday in an Orangeburg nursing home. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Friendship United Methodist Church. Burial, directed by Avinger Funeral Home of Holly Hill, will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Cross was born in Cross, a son of Joseph P. Cross and Addie Lea Russell Cross. He was a graduate of Wofford College and the University of South Carolina. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a past president of the Moncks Corner Rotary Club and Cross Lions Club, and a past vice president of the Huguenot Society of South Carolina. He was the founder and past president of the Berkeley County Historical Society. He was a member of the National Education Association, the American Legion, the S.C. Historical Society, the Sons of the American Revolution and Friendship United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Julia Harrington Rogers Cross of Orangeburg; a son, Joseph R. A Funeral Mass for Joseph Robert Currier, of Summerville, will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today, May 10, 2006 at St. John The Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Ave. in Summerville. The Rite of Committal will take place at Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum. Mr. Currier died May 8, 2006 in a local hospital. He was 80. Mr. Currier was born Oct. 26, 1925 in Rochester, New Hampshire, a son of the late Joseph W. Currier and the late Marie Annie Robichaud Currier. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of World War II, in which he received two Purple Hearts. Mr. Currier retired as a pipe-fitter from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Mr. Currier was a devoted husband , father and member of St. John The Beloved Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Anne R. Currier of Summerville; four daughters, Carol Laurion of Lakeland, Fla., Marcia Porter of James Island, Donna Edwards of Summerville and Linda Crawford of Great Falls, Mont.; a son, Robert J.
