TRIER, AMES

Jennifer Coonley-LaBonte September 29, 2000

I am searching for my great grandfather John Jacob TRIER, b 2 July 1838 in Buffalo, NY who married Mary Lorena AMES, b 3 April 1853 in AuSable, NY.  They were married in Delhi, IA on 16 April 1873.  Out of this union they had 8 children... one was my grandmother Sarah Jane COONLEY (I believe her middle name was TRIER.) who was born 10 Nov 1881 in Uniontown, IA.  From what my Aunt Kate Dolly had to say, Uniontown was actually Buck Creek at that time.  I show Buck Creek as presently being in Bremer County, IA.  Any info would be appreciated.

SPENCE

Clarence Spence October 26, 2000

William and Eliza SPENCE, Hopkinton or Sand Springs, South Fork Township, Delaware County, Iowa circa 1852 - 1893.  Also sons, Clarence, George, Clarence, Charles, James, Edward, and Frank.  Daughters Sarah, Margaret, and Fanny.  Any info would be appreciated.

NICHOLS, DAVIS, BARRETT

Dick Barr November 7, 2000

I am trying to locate my great-grandfather's sister.  Her maiden name was Jenette/Jeanette NICHOLS.  She was married three times.  I know one husband's surname was DAVIS.  I found a John N. DAVIS who married a Jenette BARRETT 15 July 1881 in Manchester.  Looking for any information.

CLINTON

Ron Sims November 7, 2000

I am looking for any records of Fred Vincent CLINTON or his wife Mary Francis CLINTON.  I have been unable to find anything on them, however they did live in the Strawberry Point area and Delaware County for many years.  The only people that know any information on them have been dead for many years.  These two people were great grandparents and lived in the area we believe between 1920's to 1960's.  Any information would be appreciated.

FENTON, REYNOLDS

Tyler Thompson December 11, 2000

My great-great-grandfather Stanley FENTON married Mercy REYNOLDS on Christmas 1867 in Milo or Delhi Township.  I'm trying to find Stanley's birth place and his parents.  Perhaps J. Fenton of the 1836 census (page 62) is the father.  Thanks for any help.
