Mother: Sarah RANDOLPH |
Andromachie Maccarina Barksdale was my ggggg grandmother. Her
father was Collier Barksdale, her mother was Sarah Randolph.
She and Thomas Harvey had 5 children, I descend from Sarah
(Salley) Harvey who married Martin Hancock.
Drusilla and Nathan Harvey, two of her children were twins.
It is my understanding that she was about 39 years old when she
had Salley, and died either in or right after childbirth, which
was in 1774 and had passed before her father's death.
I doubt that most people know that she was named for the Lady
Frances MacKarness from Barbados, who was Samuel Goode's mother.
