Wesley Carlisle, I believe his full name was Harley Wesley Franklin Carlisle, he was born Feb. 25, 1850 in Choctaw Co., Ms., the son of John M. & Matilda Ophelia "Perry" Carlisle. Wesley died abt. 1920, not sure where he died thou!  His father ; John M. Carlisle was born abt. 1810 in North Carolina, and died May 2, 1874 in Columbus, Lowndes Co., Miss.! He first married Matilda Ophelia Perry abt. 1835 in Tennessee, John M. married second to Nancy Jane Saffell abt. 1856 probably in Choctaw Co., Miss.! John M. had six children by Matilda, and five children by Nancy Jane Saffell.

Nancy Jane "Saffell" Carlisle, wife of John M. Carlisle was born May 1836 in Lawrence Co., Alabama, and died abt. 1910 in Yell Co., Arkansas. She was the daughter of William Jacob & Mary "Templeton" Saffell. John M. & Nancy Jane "Saffell" Carlisle were the parent's of 5 children.

Albert Bernard Carlisle, Robert Marion Carlisle, and unknown nephew. They were the grandson's of Jane "Stanford" Perry.

The man of the left side is ; James Oliver Lewis, who was born Dec. 1868, the son of Leroy Masingale & Elizabeth Elvira "Lewis"

Clarinda Jane "Carlisle" Saffell, who was the wife of William David Saffell. Clarinda Jane was born Dec. 19, 1857 in Choctaw Co., Ms., and died Jan. 28, 1931 in Lamar Co., Texas! Clarinda Jane was buried in the Long Cemetery, Lamar Co., Texas
