George Yeats, b: 1850 in MS
He married a Crowley (Eliza or Mattie?)
They had one child, Ada Lou Yeats (McMahon).
The 1880 census shows both of them living with John W. Crowley and his wife Sarrah and their children.  Sarrah was also a Yeats (I don't know if she was related to George or not).  Since they were all of the same approximate age I am sure John W. was the brother of George's wife.  He is listed [George] as a widow and 30 years of age at the time and a "l o f " (labourer on farm).  Both of his parents are listed as being born in Alabama.  A picture of Ada Lou and her children are posted also.  George is my great great grandfather and I have no other information on him.
