John Thomas Efrem Merideth and his wife, Lilly L.
Lamb-Merideth Both were born in Webster County, Mississippi and
have many relatives still there. John was the brother of my great grandfather James
Meredith. Lilly’s father was Thompson R. Lamb and mother was Mary A. Harrod.
Her parents were married in Sumner County (Webster) on 29 Dec 1868. Parts
of both families moved to Texas around the Late 1890’s. John and Lilly were married 1901
in Henderson Texas. Both are buried at Payne Springs, Henderson, TX.
