photo of Andrew Jackson Shaffer family. Andrew is the tall gentleman on the back row, left side wearing a hat, the lady next to his left, with the black shaw is his wife; Nancy Exine "Melton" Shaffer. The young lady standing in the back row center is their daughter; Mamie Louisa "Shaffer" Brantley, and the older lady sitting in the front center was Andrew's mother; Louisa Colensworth "Russell" Shaffer, the wife of Adam Shaffer, who died May 16, 1855. The little girl next to Louisa C. Shaffer, with her elbow on her Louisa's knee, and her chin rested on her fist was Willie Exine Brantley, the daughter of Mamie Louisa "Shaffer" Brantley, and Cornelius Ransom Brantley! This photo was made in 1899, probably at Siloam, Clay Co., Miss.! The other people in this photo are unknown at this time. If anyone can identify them please let me know...!!

John Wesley Lamb     1802 – 1872  - Founder of Lebanon Methodist Church in 1850

John Wesley was born abt. 1802, & died Sept. 26, 1874, he married Lucinda Digby Nov. 15, 1825 in Jasper Co., Georgia. And they had 10 children.
