Looking for any information on the family of CHARLES M. LAMKIN who married NANNIE MELTON. Charles was the son of Charles Jackson Lamkin and Susan Pollard who came from Kentucky to Missouri about 1876. They settles in BUTLER COUNTY, around the Bay Springs area. Charles M. and Nannie Melton were married in Ripley Co., on May 22, 1892, but lived in Butler County. Charles was my g uncle, and would love to find Charles and Nannie's family. Would love to have any contact with anyone with information on THOMAS LANGLEY and ELIZA LAMKIN. They were married August 22, 1882, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Eliza was born Oct. 3, 1859 and died Nov. 4, 1940. She was the daughter of Charles Lamkin and Susan Pollard LAMKIN who had moved to Missouri from Kentucky. Hi Folks. My name is Doug and I'm a LEVERETT researcher. Mary and Glen of this site had an effort going where people send to them enrties for local cemeteries. I viewed the list and everyone did a fine job. My query is about an entry that was sent to them for their cemetery listing. The information furnished was as follows: MARY ELIZABETH LEVERETT died July 4, 1873 Burial at Little Lake Cemetery. Little Lake is of course in Wayne Co. and is a very old cemetery.
