Does anyone know anything about the following listed in the 1910 Butler Co. Census (no township specified)...Giani*do, Allie; Giani*do, Effie; Giani*do, Lee? I am looking for ancestors Allie, Effie, and Lee Borders known by me to have been in Wayne Co., MO 1890's onward...I'm having trouble finding any record...Effie Borders was my grandmother married to my GF John Harrison Eads in 1912 (supposed to have been Wayne Co. but can't find proof)...Allie and Lee were 2 of her siblings, 3 others Clara, George, and ?...parents were 2 sisters Mollie Gibbs/Margaret Gibbs(Mollie died during or soon after childbirth, asked her big sister to marry her husband and care for her children before she died)...So some of each lady by George Louis Borders whom they each married! Since I've seen this notation of Allie, Lee, and Effie I just wonder how sure enumerator was of spelling of surname and curious to see if there aare people who link to them? Thanks, Carol ([email protected])

Submitter: Cindy Englehart ([email protected])
Date: 31 May 2001

Butler County BRYANT I am seeking information about William Penn Bryant. I have a possible William Penn Bryant born 11 Dec 1847 died 25 Feb 1908 married 21 June 1868 to Emily A (Catherine) Manlay born 1851. One child was born to this union, Ida Bryant born 1869. No known death dates to Emily or Ida. What I know of William Penn Bryant...married Elmina T (Tobiatha or Tabitha) Saypaw. Had Margaret Alice Bryant Jan 26, 1884 and she had a brother George. Margaret's delayed birth certificate lists Fredericktown, MO for birth, but obituary lists Lamar Co, AL and living child thinks she was born in TN. Margaret married Thaddeus Eli Campbell in early 1900's and remarried after the death of Thaddeus. She remarried Jefferson Reeves Forrest of Qulin, MO. They both resided there and this is where Margaret raised their 10 children. Margaret is buried in Elder Cemetery along side of Thaddeus Eli Campbell. Please if you have any links to this family, I would appreciate any pieces to the puzzle. Email me at [email protected].
