RIGGIN, born in about 1854 in IL.� His wife was Josephine HOLLY, born about 1860 in IN.� My grandfather was Virgil RIGGIN, born in 1882 in Madisonville (Hopkins County), KY.� He married Ellen DICKEN of Poplar Bluff sometime before 1900. They had children:� Lela, Letha, Henry D.� Don't have any information about Virgil's or George W.'s deaths, but it was probably in Butler County.�
Ellen DICKEN died in 1945 and is buried in Butler County at the DICKEN family cemetery. Ellen DICKEN's father was Hardy C. DICKEN, born in 1843 in IL and moved to Poplar Bluff area after the Civil War.� He had at least 24 children from 4 wives.� Ellen's mother was Elizabeth POWERS, born in MO in about 1854 and died Jan. 11, 1893 somewhere in Butler County. Looking for information on Beulah MUNDY DOWNEY. In 1948, her husband Edgar DOWNEY's obituary reported that they were living in Neelyville, Mo. Edgar had a death record issued in Clay Co., AR, but he was returned to Indiana for burial. Beulah was born in Hamilton County, Indiana, but what happened to her after Edgar's death is not known.
