Baker Family related to the Reed family of Arkansas. Burley William Reed b. 3/22/1907 d. 10/18/1978 married on 07/08/1929 to Margie Lawrence Glasgow b. 8/22/1905 (or 06?) d. 03/13/1981. Burley's siblings were: Kate, Cecil, Kyle and Vernon - no dates available. Have newspaper clipping saved by Margie (Glasgow) Reed (my grandmother) without a date in which the paper highlights Randy Lee Baker, son of Staff Sergeant & Mrs. Virlin L. Baker 811 Park Ave., Poplar Bluff (Butler County) MO and grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Norman Baker 1101 Franklin St., Poplar Bluff, MO AND *MRS. MARY REED, Crawfordsville, AR. I am looking for a Silas Barker Born around 1820. He was in Stoddard and Butler County in the 1860's. The family ended up in Arkansas (Imboden). I know in 1929 his grandson Earl Barker come to this county to get married. So I thought there might be family still here.

BALES/BEALS/BAIL Family appear on 1870 Census Butler County Black River Township including: John & Rhoda (Rody/Rodie), their children Solomon, George, Jacob, Rachel C, John Jr. Rhoda listed with son John Jr. on 1880 census in Shelby County, Illinois as a widow. George is listed here with Jonathan CLEAK. Jonathan's wife is Mary KELLER.

I hope there is someone in Butler Co who will be able to help in my search for a great uncle. His name was Daniel Barnes, he was born about 1893 in Oregon (?) Co. His father was Alanson (Al) W. Barnes, Mother was Harriett (Hettie)C. Moore Barnes.� I know he was still living in 1955 when my grandfather, Charles Franklin Barnes died in Flint Michigan.� I have been told that Daniel lived in the Poplar Bluff area. BARTLETT and Mary GLOVER.� Dr. Bartlett lived in Butler County from the end of the Civil War until his death in 1897.� He had 4 daughters:� Mary Pauline who married Dr. L. F. QUINN; Medora who married W. T. LEAGUE; Lulu who married J. W. I am looking for any information on McJimp (McJymps) Bays (Baze) and or Banister Baze, both were in Black River Township in Wayne Co. in the 1840 census.� By 1850 only McJimp Bays was in Butler Co.� In 1840 there was a Isaih Bayse or Bayee by 1850 there were three Bays children� Isaiah Bays, age 13, Jane Bays age 12, and Sarah Bays age 10 living with a Jermina Thompson in Butler Co. Was there an epidemic between 1840 and 1850 in this area of the country? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

My Gr Gr Grandmother was Lillian Duckett. Her mother was Jane Corlet Behr. Their last known residence was around Campbell, Missouri. Lillian was born in Decatur, Ill. Would appreciate hearing from anyone having information about these families.

My great-grandparents, Simon Henry Behr (I think he generally was known as Henry) and Jane Corlett Behr lived in Campbell Missouri at the time of their deaths. She died in Mar 21, 1914 and he died Aug. 23, 1922. This information came from my grandmother and is probably accurate but might not be exact. I would like any additional information that might be available - census, tax, church or cemetery records, newspapers, etc. Does the Campbell cemetery still exist? GGM was buried there but he was buried in Indiana. A daughter, Lillian Duckett may also be buried there.
