Marriage record says Morel, but testament (David Savary, notary, 27 dec 1618) has Jeanne Morlot widow in the last marriage of Franois Rouge, with heirs including her stepsons Jean and Abraham Rouge, and others. A document of Salomon de Trey, notary at Payerne, 23 jun 1603, mentions Jeanne Morlot widow of the late Hugue Froissant. This would be the same Hugoz Froissant who appears in many documents of Jaques Girod, notary, from about 1584.
Her testament, recorded by David Savary (ACV DP 93/1, 27 dec 1618), names brothers Dimanche and Franois, sister Germaine (with her daughter Marguerite), nephew Isaac Huguet living at "l'Abbaye du Lieuz", and others.

There seem to have been two men of this name in Gallatin Co. The one who married Elizabeth, widow of Morris or Maurice Riley, was born about 1830 and served in the Civil War (his widow Elizabeth remarried to Levi King, and, after King's death, as Elizabeth King, was eligible for a pension for Farquer Morrow's service). It is not known if the other Farquar was his father.
Elizabeth, his widow and administratrix, settled his estate 03 oct 1867. However, the apparaisal of a previous estate of a different Fauquer / Farquer Morrow / Marow (his widow not identified by name) is dated 12 apr 1851, administrator Stephen Field. A Forquer Morrow was a soldier, apparently from Gallatin Co., in the Blackhawk War in 1832 (Captain Joel Holliday's Company, 1st Regiment, 1st Brigade, Illinois Mounted Volunteers).
It seems reasonable that the first Farquar was the one who served in the Blackhawk War AND married, quite possibly as his second wife, Patsy Field (married in Gallatin Co. 22 sep 1839), very likely the sister or daughter of the 1851 administrator Stephen Field. Patsy was not the mother of the second Farquar, but she could have been his step mother. However, this solution seems incorrect as well. In the 1850 census, Shawneetown, Gallatin Co., IL, Forquer Morrow is 36 years old, thus born around 1814, from Pennsylvania. His wife Patsey is 28, thus born around 1822. The oldest child is Sarah, age 5.
