DUSTON, OSBORN posted by Susan K. Spies on Saturday, June 5, 1999

John L. DUSTON, b. @ 1922, died (by suicide?) in Knox county, 1876. Married Sarah Ann OSBORN in Knox county 28 Aug 1848. They had a son, George, who left home at age 12 or so to fight in Civil War. George was born in 1849. I'd love some info on John, like who his parents were, why he hung himself, etc. as well as on Sarah, parents, place of birth and death. And George's Civil War records or any information on how a 12 year old would have joined the army and what he would have done.
