Looking for information on Moses COLLINS, married 25 July 1824 in Fayette Co., Penn. and died 25 January 1854 in Mercer Co., Ohio. His wife Emily (SHALLENBERGER) (dau of ?,?) died 15 December 1856 in Fayette Co., Penn. He has 6 known children and I have found information that he (Moses) is a pioneer of Mercer Co., arriving in the county around 1825 (based on children birth locations). His children that I know of are:

David S. COLLINS (born - Mercer Co., Ohio)

Isaac W. COLLINS (born 10 April 1825 -Mercer Co., Ohio, died 7 November 1845 - Mercer Co., Ohio, and buried in North Grove Cemetery in Celina, Mercer Co., Ohio)

Jacob S. COLLINS (born 15 May 1831 - Miami Co., Ohio, married 5 Feb 1852 -Mercer Co., Ohio to Adeline V. DAVIS (dau of ?,?), died 27 December 1853 -?Mercer Co., Ohio, and buried ?Mercer Cty. Ohio) ** Jacob is my direct ancestor of these children**

George W.B.? COLLINS (born 24 March 1837 -Mercer Co., Ohio, married 15 March 1859 -? to Matilda GARARD (dau of ?,?), died 9 August 1864 - Mercer Co., Ohio, - buried Mercer Co., Ohio )

Henry A.W. COLLINS (born 6 December 1839 -Mercer Co., Ohio, died 24 December 1906 -Mendon, Ohio, buried -Mercer Co., Ohio (I believe he was never married)

Cyrus B. COLLINS (born 18 August 1841 - Mercer Co., Ohio, married 1st- 9 July 1865 -? to Jerusha L. MURLIN (dau of Daniel and Laura (DAVIS) MURLIN), married 2nd - 9th or 10th October 1869 - Mercer Co., Ohio, to Mahala L. DAVIS (dau of Samuel and Elizabeth (MURLIN) DAVIS), died 12 November 1904 -?, buried -?)

Almost all of this information was obtained from a "History of Mercer County" that was in the possesion of a paternal aunt that lives in Celina. A grandson of Moses (son of Jacob and Adeline V. (DAVIS)) was Franklin Shellenberger COLLINS - a mayor of Mendon and Judge in the town of Celina. Despite the well-known family, I can find very little outside of the area.
