How To Submit A Query

Genealogical and Historical Query Research

Platte County Historical & Genealogical Society announces the re-opening of its Query Research activity.

Address your Platte County query to:

ARCHIVES RESEARCH TEAM

PLATTE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

P.O. BOX 103

PLATTE CITY, MO  64079-0103

Email queries may be directed to a volunteer at [email protected]

NOTE: Please INCLUDE THE SURNAME TO BE RESEARCHED IN THE SUBJECT LINE AND IN THE BODY of the query.

Normal, well-stated queries will be answered in the order received; others will be answered as time and talent permit.  Badly-worded queries require us to guess what you are seeking...Please re-read your query before you send it to make certain it asks clear questions.  Tell us what you hope to learn.

This is an effort by PCHS volunteers who are donating their time.  Paper, ink and gasoline aren't free, however, so please make a generous donation to help us continue this activity; it's supposed to help us pay PCHS expenses, not be a loser.  We suggest a $20 donation for most query reports.

PCHS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, your donations are tax-deductible according to IRS regulations.  Please make checks out to, and address your letters to the address shown above.
