I am seeking information on the following people who resided in Clark County; Harry Alfred BANKE (b.11/16/1904 d.01/26/1992) married to Ruby Leah STEVENS, had 3 children: Rita Claudette BANKE (b.04/14/1945 d.10/19/1990), Virginia L. BANKE, and Linda E. BANKE. Need any information on Richard Hanning first husband on Evelyn Smithline (b.04/09/1911 d.06/1984). Also, need info on grandfather born as James Erwin RAINE (b.12/13/1915 d.09/30/1990) (but adopted by Mr. Westley E. DUNN (b.10/11/1889 d.06/04/1964) who had Jame's name changed to: James Norman DUNN), who married Eva RIESS (d. abt 03/1967)and had 2 children: Lawrence David DUNN and Gerald James DUNN. I have Elbert Raymond SHARP b: 11, July, 1913 married Glada Bernice (Sharp) His parents are: Curnel NICHOLS ( not sure of the spelling) Mary Enitha (TROLL) Her parents are: James A. Garfield Sharp b:10, Nov 1880 d: 23, Oct 1934 m: 26, Oct 1910 Herma Grace SHEILDS b: 15, Aug 1895 d: 12, June 1930 Herma Graces' Parents were Edward and Addie Jane (Shields) James Garfields' Parents were Ephrium P. and Cora Valentine I don't know if Valentine was her middle or maiden. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

O'MALLEY - I am looking for information on J.J. OMALLEY, who lived in Vancouver from 1885 to approximately 1912. He married my great aunt Hannah M. Carlon in Roseburg, Oregon on 16 December 1885 and made their home in Vancouver. I know that they had at least one son, Carl J. O'MALLEY. My great aunt died and was buried in Portland, Oregon in 1912, but I don't know what happened to her husband or the rest of her family. I believe J.J. O'MALLEY was also known as "Chuck" and was a truck driver.

My father, Fred Stanley BENNETT was born 20 Nov 1889 in Clark Co. WA on the south side of the Lewis River in northern Clark Co. near what was then known as the Hayes area. My grandparents, Henry and Anzanetta (Zech) BENNETT settled there in 1887. I will exchange data with anyone interested in this family.

Gearhart (George) and Wilhelmina CHRISTENSEN and sons Anton and Willie settled near LaCenter just before 1880. Willie married Amelia/Emelia PEDERSEN, daughter of Peter and Martha Augusta Pedersen about 1889. Gearhart and Wilhelmina Christensen are buried in the Highland Lutheran cemetery, and Peter Pedersen may be, also. All from Norway. Any info appreciated.

I have a database of over 3,000 individuals, mostly MATSON, SIMMS, VANATTA, KARLSEN. The VANATTAS came from Pennsylvania, Illinois and Iowa via wagon (to Oregon first) and arrived in Clark County around 1891. The MATSONS from Finland arrived in Clark County circa 1888 and merged right in with the HALLS from Illinois who had been here before 1875 (they had 10 daughters, 1 son, the HALL name didn't go far!). SIMMS from Missouri have been in the county since 1913. I'm willing to trade information!
