is a new mailing list which will focus exclusively on the genealogy of Nacogdoches County, TX If you have ancestors in Nacogdoches County, we welcome you to subscribe and contribute your queries and the information you have on your family. Everyone gains when we pool everything we know about the early families of Nacogdoches. TXNACOGD is also the place to find out what is new on this Nacogdoches Genweb site.

If your ancestors wandered all over the Eastern part of the state, you may also want to subscribe to EAST-TEXAS-ROOTS. East Texas is loosely defined as Nacogdoches County and all surrounding and neighboring counties. There will be some inevitable overlap, but EAST-TEXAS-ROOTS is broad and inclusive, while TXNACOGD is concentrated and focused on Nacogdoches County. Feel free to subscribe to one or both -- whatever is appropriate to your situation.
