LEWISTOWN - Manice L. Ciecierski, 87, formerly of 130 Terrace Boulevard, died at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare-William Penn. Born July 19, 1915, in Mt. Union, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Summers) Drake. Her husband, John Ciecierski, whom she married in 1934, survives at Outlook Pointe, Reedsville. Also surviving are three children, Gary Ciecierski, Walter Ciecierski, both of Lewistown, and Mrs. Robert (Manice) Peace of Blandon; a sister, Irma Quay of Kentucky; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Pry, and two brothers. She was employed at American Viscose Corp. and the Empire Kosher plant. She was charter member of Calvary Bible Church, involved with lady's Bible Class and Missionary Society of the Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barr Funeral Home Inc., 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with Rev. Howard Houtz officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mifflin-Juniata Area Agency on Aging, 1 Buena Vista Circle, Box 70, Lewistown, PA 17044.
