Frank Eugene Richart, 84 of rural Robinson, IL, died at 8:27 p.m. Sunday, May 09, 2004 at his home after an extended illness. He was born April 28, 1920 in rural Robinson, IL, the youngest son of Frank Richart and Nellie Barnett Richart.

He graduated from Robinson High School in 1941. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force for nearly 4 years during WW II in North Africa. He retired from Marathon Refinery March 1, 1981 after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, Highland Church of Christ Soul Seekers Class, Robinson Masonic Lodge #250, Oak Glen Golf Course, Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, and the Robinson American Legion Post #69.

He married Roberta Watts on April 20, 1946 and she survives. He is also survived by his brother, Irvin Richart, Robinson; his sister, Gladys Carey, Robinson; 4 brothers-in-law, Ira Watts, Michigan, Jack & Harriet Watts, Donald D. & Nina Watts, and James Ray & Marilyn Watts all of Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Clarence, Jesse, and Ivan Richart; and 2 sisters, Mary Shipman and Pauline Jones.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Masonic services will follow at 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted by Pete Mitchell at the Robinson New Cemetery on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
