Larry Dean Kibler, 63, Oblong, Illinois died Thursday, May 2, 2002 at 2:34 p.m. at his residence of cancer. Larry was born april 10, 1939 in Jasper County, Illinois and was the son of Acea Trenton and Minnie Starwalt. On December 10, 1963 he married Wanda Lee Bruner who passed away on October 5, 1991. Larry was a caster at the Briggs and Case Pottery in Robinson, Illinois. Larry served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Oblong American Legion Post #219.
Larry is survived by 2 sons: Larry Trent Kibler and Patrick Dean Kibler, 3 daughters and sons-in-law: Connie Sue Berry, Brenda Lee & Danny Rogers, Pearl Lynn & Danny Herrington, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, 1 brother: Junior Lytle, 1 sister: Opal Wade and several nieces and nephews. Larry is preceded in death by: his parents, wife, 1 son: Ricky Leon, 1 daughter-in-law: Lori (Sandchez) Kibler, 2 grandchildren: Keonia & Devon Sandchez and 2 brothers: Leroy & Keith Kibler.
Burial in Mound Cemetery, Jasper Co., IL. Military Rites conducted by the Oblong American Legion Post #219.
