Thelma A. Kennedy, 91, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:40 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. She was born December 14, 1913 in W. Terre Haute, IN. the daughter of Woolsey Pickrell and Louise Haskett Pickrell. She was a homemaker, a member of the New Goshen Pilgrim Holiness Church, and attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church, rural Robinson.
She married Leslie Kennedy on March 27, 1943 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Paul Kennedy; and 2 brothers, Clarence Pickrell and Hershel Pickrell.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Margaret "Peg" Kennedy, rural Robinson; 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Karla and Larry Mitchell, Brownsburg, IN, Diane and Ivan Barrenechea, Miami, FL, Kathleen Kennedy, Brownsburg, IN, Rebecca and Randy Terry, Robinson; 8 great grandchildren, 2 step great granddaughters; 5 great great grandchildren; and her niece, Loretta Marshall, West Terre Haute, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday preceding the services. Private family graveside services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. E.S.T. at the New Vermillion Cemetery, rural West Terre Haute, IN on Sandford Road.
