Paul T. Homan, 67, passed away Saturday January 8, 2005 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois after suffering a heart attack at home. He was born on November 12, 1937 in Zeigler, Illinois and was the son of John and Bonnie Mae (Hood) Homan.

On December 27, 1958 Paul married Letty (Kilgore) and she survives. Paul was employed as an English teacher at an American Base in Germany, Guidance Counselor at Robinson High School and a Psychologist for Southeastern Special Education. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in Palestine, Illinois and a member of the Robinson Elk's Lodge #1188. Paul's life was filled with music, playing the piano, guitar and ukulele, reading, gardening, yard work, dancing, camping, nature walks, spelunking, playing pool, quoting poetry, telling jokes, golfing (especially at Oak Glen) and most of all his family.

Surviving Paul is his wife Letty; two sons and daughters-in-law Paul T. & Darci Homan and Peter & Angie Homan; two daughters & sons-in-law Pam & Stan Glickman and Penny & Bill Homan-Muise; eleven grandchildren Jacob, Garrett, Parker & Joey Homan, Avalon, Sage & Emma Homan-Muise, Kenny & Eli Glickman, Jonna Tanneur and Cathryn Homan; one brother and sister-in-law John & Rose Homan Jr. and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and one infant brother Jim.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
