Pauline E. Martin Fielder 86 Palestine formerly of Oblong died Wednesday April 3, 2002 at 10:25 p.m. at her residence. She was born February 14, 1916 in Jasper Coounty, Illinois and was the daughter of Millard Miller and Fern (Boyd) Miller. On December 3, 1933 she married Gerald W. Martin who died May 12, 1982. On February 2, 1987 Pauline married Guy W. Fielder who died April 9, 2000. Pauline was an LPN in the OB Dept. of Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson for 15 years retiring February 1, 1981. She was a member of White Oak Church and belonged to several camping groups in the area. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, cooking and playing cards. Pauline loved to spend time with family especially her grandchildren.
Pauline is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law Bob & Irene Martin; 1 daughter and son-in-law Linda & Mike Elder; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 step sons and step daughters-in-laws Dale & Margaret Fielder and R. Lowell & Erma Fielder; 1 step daughter and step son-in-law Darlene & Larry Ferguson; 7 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; 2 brothers Joe & Earl Miller and 2 sisters Ilene Snearly and Rosalee Miller.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery rual Oblong.
