Mary Alice Davis, 75, of Robinson, IL, died at the home of her son in Robinson at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2003 after an extended illness. She was born February 23, 1928 in Petersburg, IN, the daughter of Jesse Lyle Robinson and Mildred Inez Ready Robinson. She was an Administrative Assistant in fund raising and development with the Calumet College in Whiting, IN and the St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, IN. She retired in 1991.

She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Gary L. and Janice Davis, Robinson, Gale L. and Kim Davis, rural Hutsonville; 6 grandchildren, Darren Davis, Sara Davis, Perry Davis, DeAndrea Babcock, Shannan Davis, and Cody Davis; her great grandchild, Haley Ann Myers; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Lyla June "Pat" and Pete Mitchell, Robinson, Clare and Len Krause, Ocala, FL; her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Sue Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents; and her daughter, Kellie Ann Davis, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday January 3rd. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with funeral service at 10:30. Graveside services will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine after visitation. Pastors Mont and Mark Mitchell are in charge of services. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospital Lincoln Trail Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
