Ruby A. Bell, 84, of Flat Rock, IL, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 8:32 p.m. at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville. She was born February 29, 1920 in Charleston, IL, the daughter of John Mason and Grace Long Mason. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Flat Rock Christian Church and a 25 years member of the Flat Rock Tops Club.
She married Clarence Bell on February 29, 1947 and he survives. She is also survived by 2 daughters, Donna Rae Bell, Flat Rock and Mary Ann Bell, Flat Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock with Pastors Pete Belew and Skip Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock. Visitation will be Friday, August 6th from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Flat Rock Christian Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.
