Barbara Ruth Baker, 63, of Robinson, IL, formerly of Palestine, IL, died July 10, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, IN. She was born September 7, 1941 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Howard Decker and Josephine Peach Decker. She worked in the packing department at Fair-Rite. She attended the Free Methodist Church, Birds, IL.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, David Eugene Baker, Sumner, James Leroy and Vickie Baker, Palestine; 2 grandchildren, Baylee Nichole Baker and Jessie James Baker; 2 brother, Charles Howard, Jr. and Pat Decker, Flat Rock; her father and step-mother, Howard and Doris Decker, Flat Rock; two half brothers, Lance Clayburn Decker, Bridgeport and Todd Decker, Lawrenceville.
She was preceded in death by her mother and 2 sisters, Betty Ann Rinsch and Kathryn Bernice Balski.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine, IL. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11:00 a.m. preceding the services.
