Following is one of the Biographies and Stories which where gathered by Charles Sumner McKamy in the 1950s for publication in a Crawford County History Book. Unfortunately he passed away before the book was published.

Timothy I. McKnight, born in Crawford County, Illinois, June 10, 1891; admitted to the bar, 1915, Illinois. Preparatory education; graduate McKendree College (A.B.); legal education, University of Illinois (LL.B., 1915) and McKendree College (LL.D., 1955). Fraternity: Phi Alpha Delta. States Attorney, Greene County, Illinois, 1920-1925. Member: Law Club of Chicago; Illinois State (President 1953-1954) and American (Member, House of Delegates, 1952-1954). Bar Associations; The Association of the Bar of the City of New York; Society of Trial Lawyers, Chicago; American College of Trial Lawyers.
