b. before 1735, d. between 1 October 1756 and 19 September 1757
  • Harkelaus Brewer was born before 1735 (certainly of age when he wrote his will, but how old is not known).
  • He died between 1 October 1756 and 19 September 1757.1
  • His will was dated on 1 October 1756 proved 19 Sep 1757. Harkelaus (Hercules?) Brewer of New York, mariner, being of sound mind. I leave to Sarah Gulden, spinster, a pair of silver shoe buckles and all my wearing apparell, and all the rest of my estate, and I make her and Henry Kelly executors. Witnesses: Henry De Forest, John Needham, Daniel McLean.1
  • The only record of Harkelaus (possibly Hercules) Brewer that is known is his will of 1756. He was a mariner, apparently not married, with no known children. His relationship, if any, to the Brouwer/Brower/Brewer families of New York in the 1700s is not known.
