My name is Roger Greeley, volunteer coordinator for Girard Township.

I have spent all 44 years of my life in Erie County, 20 of which was in Corry, Pa., 2 years in Erie, Pa. and 22 years in Lake City Pa. (Girard Twp.).

I have always been interested in local historical trivia. When I was a very young I lived across the street from Mead Park in Corry. When I was around seven years old they were building the Corry Museum. After they built the foundation and floor they backed a flatbed semi truck with a Climax Steam Locomotive on it and rolled it inside. I wished I had a camera!

Ever since then I have visited almost every museum, and exhibit in Erie County. About 10 years ago I started working on my family tree. I have visited almost every major library in Erie County and walked at least 30 cemeteries.
