WELCOME TO
GIRARD TOWNSHIP! My name is Roger Greeley, volunteer coordinator for Girard Township. I have spent all 44 years of my life in Erie County, 20 of which was in Corry, Pa., 2 years in Erie, Pa. and 22 years in Lake City Pa. (Girard Twp.). I have always been interested in local historical trivia. When I was a very young I lived across the street from Mead Park in Corry. When I was around seven years old they were building the Corry Museum. After they built the foundation and floor they backed a flatbed semi truck with a Climax Steam Locomotive on it and rolled it inside. I wished I had a camera! Ever since then I have visited almost every museum, and exhibit in Erie County. About 10 years ago I started working on my family tree. I have visited almost every major library in Erie County and walked at least 30 cemeteries. So if you are looking for any help on local ancestry, or have items you would like to share data on any local cemeteries, biographies, genealogies, deeds, or other data let me know! All E-Mails please use <GIRARD TWP> for subject, due to the vast amount of spam mail I receive, I may accidentally delete it. Looking forward to helping you! Roger Greeley
