Stormont County
is a historic county in the province of Ontario. The townships within the county were: Cornwall,
Finch, Osnabruck and Roxborough. In 1850, Stormont County merged with
Dundas and Glengarry Counties to form the United Counties of
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Mr. James Fagan, head clerk, is reputed to be one of the best salesmen in Eastern Ontario in the particular lines which are carried by Brault & McDonald. Farmers and Cheese Board patrons generally would do well to give this store (indisputably the best of its kind in Cornwall), their business. They are always assured of a hearty welcome, with noobligation to buy. Showing their goods is no trouble, but a pleasure, to Brault & McDonald. |
