Where Mrs. Rev. A.E. NISCHWITZ and son Robert are buried. They died in the flu epedemic of 1918 when Rev. Nischwitz was pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church Salem, Ohio.

Looking for information on Catherine BURGER who married George MOTTINGER sometime around 1820. Catherine is buried in St. Jacobs Church in Salem Twp. Problem: There has been some information come to light that Burger is not her maiden name that she was the daughter of a David RISCHER. However the date for Davids Catherine does not match was we know of Catherine. We know that she was born in 1796 according to her son Reasons diary on the date and age he wrote about his mothers death. There are many Burgers in the Columbiana County history books including one Jacob Burger who I believe is her father. Jacob Burger was also the caregiver and executor of Michael Mottingers will. Michael was Georges father. If anyone can help me to place Catherine with the Burgers by birth or marriage I would be very grateful.
