  • Guyana History - Wonderful site to learn and where documents and memoirs are shared - A Must Visit !
  • Berbice News - Current newspaper; look for historical articles and archives (has genealogical & biographical articles)
  • Family History - This Church of Latter-day Saints site does have some out of the United States families listed.
  • Ancestry - This site has no databases concerning Guyana. It does have a message board and subscription English records - fee based
  • Kindred Trails (fee-based)
  • Cousin Connect has a Guyana Genealogy query page
  • Rootsweb has a mailing list for Guyana
  • FamilyRecords.gov - this UK site has online census for some years - good site if your ancestor emigrated from Guiana to
         England/Scotland/Isle of Man only
  • UK National Archives - This site has census and other records available for England - have not found Guyana records there- yet
  • British-Genealogy.com - B-G forum where one may post queries about their Guyana/British family
  • If your ancestor attended college in another country, try college records. For instance, Glascow University Archive Services in Scotland has a
         list of graduates from British Guiana from 1859-1888.
  • Military site for British Commonwealth/British Guiana - Regiments of the West Indies, a good site to begin search for ancestors who served in
         the military
  • London Missionary Society Archives - They have records from their time in British Guiana (1807-1923); these records would of interest
         primarily to ancestors who were missionaries in this society
  • NALIS library site - An act from Trinidad/Tabago created an international library database with many items online
  • Did anyone in your family graduate from the University of Guyana? Check the list of alumni
