Looking for information on Effie SNOW b. in Reynolds County, MO on 13 August, 1899. She is the second to youngest child, born to Andrew Johnson SNOW and Armelia Katherine "Kate" HEFLIN SNOW. Looking for information about the family of Basel/Bazil/Basil W. WILSON, born in Madison Co, MO in 1822; married Lucinda VANCE in 1843 and moved to Reynolds Co., MO by the 1860 census. Their children were Liza Jane, Lisander, William, Benj. Franklin, (Thomas?) Jefferson, Charles, John Pinkney, and Mary. He possibly married a second time to Sarah or Susan (surname uncertain at this time) and had more children. CHATMAN, (CHAPMAN) Thomas b. in TN in 1823. Mrd. Elizabeth HOPPERS(From Ohio). Moved to MO in 1853-56.(REYNOLDS CO.) Thomas' mother's name was Fannie CHAPMAN, (I cant find her maiden name or her husbands name.) she was b. 1798 in NC. In the 1850 Reynolds Co. census Fannie is listed as head of household with her children Berry, Tyry(?), William, Cynthia, Tennesse, and Martha. (Later records show her as married to Dr William PENNINGTON. Also a Thomas STOUT living with her. In a 1872 will of Fannie (Fanna) CHAPMAN there is mentioned FAULKENBERRY. Their names were: Elisbeth, Eiza, Douslly (Dolly?), Sinthey (Cynthi?), and Mary.

He raised all his children in Reynolds Co. IN 1850 there is a Joseph and Anna FEARS in Reynolds County. No proof this is his parents. They were enumerated in the 1850 Reynolds Co., MO census, 76th District, dwelling # 97. Their known male children born in MO are Caleb 1841; Jessee 1843; Abraham 1845; and, Henry 1848. Charles and Barbary Jane Ollis ASHER, the parents of Eliza A., were enumerated in dwelling # 95 of the same census. I have information on ASHER and OLLIS ancestors and would be willing to share it. BARGER, Allan b in Tn. in 1801; mrd Nancy BULLOCK between 1830-35 in Tn. Allan BARGER moved to Reynolds Co. between 1840-50 from Ripley Co. Mo. He and his family show up in the 1850 Reynolds County Federal census. Allan and Nancy had nine children: Henry, Martha Jane, William T., James A., Jesse A., Mary A. , George W., Dolliah and John W. BARGER. All children were born in Reynolds Co. except for Henry and Martha Jane. The Allan BARGER family lived in Reynolds Co. for about 12-15 years. I believe that Allan BARGER and Nancy came with the BRAWLEYS, LOYDS, HAMPTONS, and BROOKS from TN. into Ripley Co and then on to Reynolds Co. I 've noticed there are still BRAWLEYS and BROOKS living in Reynolds Co. I'm interested in finding out if Allan died in Reynolds Co. before 1860. Also any other information that anyone could share with me on the Allan BARGER family.
