FUNERAL OF F. A. LOVELL
On Sabbath last the Kanawha Belle brought down the remains of Mr. F. A. Lovell, of Charleston, from Malden. The funeral was published to take place on Friday last, but was postponed till Sunday, to enable the friends from a distance to attend. The remains of the deceased was escorted to Charleston by the brethren of I.O.O.F. belonging to Malden. The Members of the order in this town turned out in force and made a fine display. The body was conveyed to St. John's Church, where an impressive sermon was delivered. The remains were deposited in the family burying grounds across the Elk. The funeral procession was the largest ever in Charleston.

On Saturday last, at Covington, Kentucky, William M. Lovell, eldest son of R. M. C. Locell, one of the largest coal operators in Kanawha Valley, died of congestive chills. He was about thirty five years of age and a member of the Episcopal Church.
