Merady Burton BLALOCK (Blaylock), was born 1821 in North Carolina. In 1860 Merady was living in Fannin County, Georgia, with his wife Amanda (32), and children, Lucian (9m), Ari (7m), Marcus (5m), Alice (1f). In December 1911, Lucian Blalock received a letter from Merady and he was living in Los Angeles, California (he would have been 90 years old at that time). Merady had his photograph taken at Mitchell Studios, Los Angeles, CA. Merady had a granddaughter named Zeppie who married a DAVIS (or DAVIDSON). Zeppie probably lived in Denver, Colorado. She had her photograph taken at Palace Art Studio, 1113 16th St

Apparently, there is no record of Merady dying in California, perhaps, even at his advanced age, he re-located to be with family. Where? |
