Earlier records by Ernest Flagg have proved to be incorrect.
[13151] Apparently Flagg hired a researcher who invented one baptismal record, misreported another and probably picked a third baptism that was too late to be of the immigrant. Flagg, himself, was a careful researcher whose work was respected.
With his brother, Timothy, he was admitted freeman on 4 Mar. 1634/5, and served as deputy at the General Court for Lynn. He soon moved to Hartford, CT, where he served as constable.
This genealogy does not give exact date of death. Mentions that he moved to Hadley, MA in 1659, where he died about four years later.
The marriage occurred just one month before their son was baptized.

[13818] Robert's estate, which consisted of typical items such as clothing, furniture, stores of food and livestock, was valued at 51lbs 11s 1d (Archdeaconry of Canterbury, registered inventories, vol. 31,f.322 (FHL film #189,041).
The Ruth Standley who married Humphrey Uredge at Tenterden on 16 September 1605 was probably Robert's widow.
[15401] No probate records before 1640 has been found in Kent for Humphrey or Ruth.
By 1781, pastor of the cathedral church at Bern, according to the documents relating to the distribution of the estates of his wife's parents.
He served as minister of arts and sciences under the Directoire Helv�tique, and then as minister plenipotentiary for the R�publique Helv�tique in Paris. A biography was published by his son in 1888.
