Fone Hill/ Phone Hill Cemetery is near Fonehill which is located at 31-25-5-W2 the CN siding locates at NE quarter of section 31 tsp 25 rge 5 W2 meridian
in the RM No. 244 - ORKNEY. Note the two spellings. The CN siding was named Fonehill as was the Saskatchewan What pool elevator,
the school was named Phone Hill 1459 (which burned down in September of 2011).
Early maps identify the location as Fonehill, and later maps as Phone Hill...so it had two names in history. The cemetery records
Fonehill Cemetery as their identifier. Fonehill was located on the CN railways between Willowbrook to the west and Vanstone to the east.
The city of Yorkton, the closest large center as approximately 15 kilometers ( 10 miles ) to the east of Fonehill along provincial highway 52.

The two St. Elias cemeteries were a few miles apart about 4 approximately and the church was in one of them
farther away from Kamsack but before we saw the Rothbury school and cemetery sites as above.
