Quartermaster General, U.S. Army,
Washington, D.C.

Dear Sir:
I do not understand wherin I failed, in my previous letter, to meet the requirements in regard to the application for headstone, to mark the grave of my husband, John Keller, Co. M. 4th O. V. C.
I will receive the headstone, and have it promply removed from the railroad station at Foster, Ohio. to the Hopkinsville Cemetery and have it set at the head of my husband's grtave. I have a person already engaged to do the work, just as soon as we receive notice that it is at the station.

Sincerely yours,
Mrs. John Keller
