The Long Fork of
Jenny's Creek United Baptist Church and School was donated by Dana
Howard. The history of the building in its original location tells that
every family who had children of school age helped in the construction of
the building, so it was a labor of love by a whole community. The bell on
this cabin came from the Caleb May home and was used as the school/church
bell at the Beech Grove Church and School. This cabin is now the Pioneer
Village Church/Chapel and is designated non-denominational. Church
services are held periodically through out the year, and everyone is always
welcome.
