  • Iowa County Marriages 1857-1862. Iowa County Heritage, Bicentennial Series, Booklet # 3. This book was published in 1974 by Gerald R. Fieldhouse. Mr. Fieldhouse was a renowned Dodgeville and Iowa county Historian until his death just a few years ago. This is an alphabetical listing of grooms and brides with an extract of their marriage information. There is also a small section on "The Churches of Iowa County" extracted from the 1881 History of Iowa County book. This is a published genealogy of Askild Michelson Komperud (1762-1846) & Berthe Maria Olsdatter (1799-1890) and their allied families of Ashel, Enger, Roum, Nanstad, Elvod, Gaarder, and more.
