was Eleanor ?. Had the following children: William b. @ 1829, John b. 03-12-1832,

1840, Polly b. @ 1842. Had additional children. Believed to have lived in
Grant / Grubb's Chapel area. Would be my grandfather. Any and all help

on William G. FISHER Married to Elizabeth [?], daughter of William was Margaret
Ann FISHER Married to Benjamin G. BOONE. Margaret and Benjamin lived in Floyd
co. and William gave information of their son on his birth record. I can't
place William at any location, but assume he was also living in Floyd Co.

CARR, DEWESE - I'm trying to find info on the parents of Henry
Wiltz CARR who was born in Wythe County on June 19, 1809. He relocated to
Floyd County around 1830 and married Mary DEWESE. Any info would be greatly
appreciated.

GOAD, WEBB - James Madison WEBB left Floyd County with Confederate
Troops, leaving Ursula GOAD and six children behind: Legrand (my great
grandfather) b. 1855; Daniel Martin b.1855; Elizabeth b. 1857; Calvin b.
1859; Julia b. 1861; James E. b. 1863. I have found information on Legrand
and Daniel Martin, but cannot find information on the others. Ursula GOAD
resided as a boarder in the later part of the 19th century, in the home of
Mahalia Quesenberry. It appears that she died sometime between 1900 and 1910.
Any information would be helpful. Will share info from my own research in
exchange.

WEDDLE - Benjamin WEDDLE; b 1742 in PA?; of German
descent; m Annie Mary EILER; Revolutionary War soldier; will proven Apr 1807
in Montgomery County, VA. I am descended from his daughter Catherine WEDDLE
who married Archelous HYLTON and died 25 Sep 1863 in Floyd County, VA. I
am also descended from Benjamin's son Andrew WEDDLE who was a Floyd County
minister. Annie Mary is buried in the Weddle cemetery in Floyd County, VA.
They had 12 or 13 children including Catherine WEDDLE, b 7 Mar 1784 and Andrew
WEDDLE b 13 Aug 1787, both of whom lived in Floyd County, VA. Would like
to exchange information with others researching this family.

War soldier. His will was probated in Oct 1804 in Patrick County, VA. His
gg grandson Sparrel Tyler TURNER represented Floyd County in the Virgina
Senate in the early 1900s. Will exchange information about this family.

County on 24 Sept 1896. She was the daughter of William Addison GRAY born
17 Aug 1865, and died in Sophia, WV 15 Jul 1951 and Arminta Ellan DUNCAN,
born 15 Jun 1873 and died 2 Jan 1969 in Sophia, WV. My grandfather, John
Sherman AKERS was born in Tazewell Co. 9 Jan 1895 the son of William Lewis
AKERS and Martha LITTLE. From information I have found on line he may also
be connected to Floyd County since there were many AKERS families there.

in Floyd Co Va is (I believe) the same person. Would like more information
on Solomon. He and Rachel may have died 1880 to 1928, but where, when &
why? Daughter Eliza Ellen married Benjamin Bethuel RATLIFF 1876 in Floyd
Co and then moved to Mercer Co WV. Did her parents follow her to WV? Who
were Solomon & Rachel's parents? Is Solomon, son of Jacob & Polly

in the Civil War and died in 1928 in Floyd Co.
