State Soldier Killed in War
Army Spec. 4 Johnny L. Kidd, 20, of Choctaw was reported killed, in ..Vietnam by the defense department when
the plane on which he was a
crew member crashed and burned.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy, and his parents Mr. and Mrs. ' George Kidd, all of Choctaw. Other survivors are a brother, Donald, and a. sister, Rene.

Kidd graduated in 1966 from Choctaw High School. He entered the army in February 1968 and went to Vietnam, in February: of this year.

A. memorial, service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Choctaw Baptist Church. ; Burial will be in Florida.
