Lester L. Williams, age 81, of Harrah, OK, was born on December 12, 1928, in Newalla, Oklahoma. He was the son of Lester H. & Zellah Faye (Johnson) Williams. He left this life on Friday, April 9, 2010, in Harrah, OK.

Lester proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Betty J. Osborn on December 4, 1953, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He worked as a painter at Tinker AFB retiring after 30 years. Lester enjoyed carpentry, old movies and his dog, Loki.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Odell Williams, son, Guy Williams, sister, Vivian and one granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Williams of the home; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Cecil Ray & Pat Terrel, Harrah, OK, Bryan Lee & Ayse Terrel, Del City, OK; daughter & son-in-law, Billye & Larry Karnes, Norman, OK; brother, Getty Wayne Williams, Newalla, OK; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00AM, Monday, April 12, 2010 at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma, with Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
