I am searching for information on James Reynolds - James and his brother Lewis were born in Chester County Nottingham T.P. PA. 1787 and 1793 They came to Ohio in 1823 - first Land Record for Coshoctan County Richland T.P. later part of Holmes County.
Lewis married Lydia ? Barnes in PA - they had 3 sons and 2 daughters. Lewis died in 1829. Lydia married John Turner - The 2 sons Levi and Samuel married Mary and Sarah Knox. Evidently the Knox family also came from Chester PA too. The only son of Levi and Mary John W. is listed as living on his Grand Father Knox farm. I have exhausted my search in Holmes County for the James Reynolds - when, where, and who he married and when, where he died and is buried. I know James was alive in 1850 and was 63 yrs old. I only got a quick glance at a Knox County book and noticed there were several Reynolds listed in Knox county. I would like to find if this is where my GGG Grandfather James is buried. Thanks for any assistance. Would like to join the discussion group.
