Directions: Take St. Rt. 52 to New Richmond.
Continue on St. Rt. 52 east out of
New Richmond . Turn left on Laurel-Clermontville
Road. This is a curvy-hilly road.
Continue to descend up the hill. You will see the cemetery on
your left. You may
park in front of the church, or enter the cemetery drive to the right
of the church. Good parking.
Pictures and additional inscriptions taken by Pamela Smith,
summer
2009. All I can say is this is worth the drive just to see
the view.
A lot of history in this area. The old school across the
street and
the old homes in the area, including the beautiful farm adjacent to
the cemetery, made this a pleasure to photograph. There are a
lot
more burials than the stones that are present.
Stones I could not located previously recorded by the DAR:
McMath, Sarah Jane – found illegible stone – not sure
Clark, Francis B.
